I was accepted into the arts program at our traditionally black high school
in the area. A few of my friends from Jr. High would be there so I was ready for it to be a comical blast or at
lest a good attempt at drop out prevention.
On the first day of school every things jumpin everyones attitude is up!
All of the guys hustling to get to the girls first. In that school almost everybody is looking for someone to chill
with for a good date night. All in all it was a good day no hearts broken yet no feelings trammpled over. Ehh, thumbs
up!
I met alot of upper classmen that day, and as we all know that is something
"cool" Okay. My motto was to keep it copestetic okay not to nerdy not to hostle. The Peacemaker. I
decided early on that one of the upper classmen was "my favorite senior" as I used to call him. "Like hey dude
I didn't know Kirk Cameron attended our school?" Duh, It's your favorite senior Danny! Dude was my favorite
senior because he had personality. We only chatted briefly, each time we saw each other I figure he was busy.
Besides he was just my favorite senior and I was "little buddy". " Hi how was your day, hug , joke here, a joke there, did
you know this, did ya know that. Ha ha ke ke. Talk to ya later smootch bye, bye. Like everybody else.

So time went on and as usually the drama started. Some times its melodrama,
comedy drama, romantic drama and other times its save the drama fo yo mama! Speaking of which. I was a participant
in the Vocal Music department of the arts program. One of our big performances for the Christmas season was the
Renaisance Madrigal Dinner. That was the magical night that the action began.
Sometime during the performance we got bored. People werekinda
hot, tired and attitudinal. That lul just so happened to occur when we were all joyfully adlibing. to keep from
being pointed out for being the one having the lemon face I quickly found a focal point. With a britsh accent I said.
"*** got it where it counts!" Seeing how we were all dressed in period attire. The people nearest
to me burst into laughter, soon the other performers were wanting to know what was so funny everyone began to pass it around
and to laugh and to play. Just hamming it up, and that tis all.
